Wondered if anyone can help. I cannot see my raw images in Bridge, the images come up as the raw icon not the actual thumbnails. I have looked all through the preferences but cannot find anything. I am using my canon 50d camera software at the moment & I'm not too happy with this.

Its probably because the Raw plugin that came with your version of CS4 has not been upgraded to the latest one.

Go to this link and look right at the top of the page for Camera Raw 5.6 update

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Download the file and make sure you follow the instructions to get it installed

Just not paying attention, I have downloaded it, but found out I didn't install it, Found the instructions on the link page you sent to me.
Will try again shortly & will let you know.

For some reason I cannot install, the box comes up on screen, & says unable to install please quit.

I am using the Mac not Windows & did download for the Mac.

Any suggestion would help.

Hi again Barry
Just a few hours later with hair pulled out. The Mac refused to install the plugin for 5.6. I then wondered if it was a mac thing, so I downloaded the windows version for my laptop which I also use CS4. As the download was a zip file I did not open it on the Mac, I copied & pasted it on to my memory pen. I followed the info set on the Adobe sight. Bridge now is working perfectly seeing the thumbnails. I am disappointed that I cannot get it to work on my mac, but at least it works on Windows.
